06 Jun E-Desk partners meet in Varaždin to ultimate the details of its Mooc on digital and entrepreneurial competencies and to continue defining the face-to-face training
As part of the Erasmus+ framework, e-DESK has created a blended learning methodology which is currently being transformed into an online (MOOC) and face-to-face training to support European HEI educators in their development of entrepreneurial, digital and pedagogical competencies.
The partners of e-DESK project, co-funded by the European Union, met in Zagreb last week: The 2nd transnational project meeting took place at the Faculty of Organisation and Informatics of the University of Zagreb on the 26th, May 2022, with the five partners from Spain, Portugal, Croatia and Finland represented in the meeting.
The aim of the meeting was to finalise the details of the MOOC for Higher Education educators which will be available online for the teachers participating in the pilot face-to-face training and pilots.
The e-DESK team had also the opportunity to present the MOOC modules to a reduced number of teachers from the University of Zagreb who will be part of the face-to-face training and pilots.
Afterwards, the team focused on the syllabus of the face-to-face training for the staff of all the partner organisations that will take place in Lisbon from the 3rd until the 6th of July 2022. This syllabus aims to complement the contents from the MOOC and to provide useful tools to educators to adapt the methodologies included into the e-DESK methodology to their own realities and institutions.
Once the participants have completed the MOOC and the face-to-face training, they will be part of the pilot experiences that aim to test the methodologies included in the e-DESK methodology in real-world contexts. These pilot experiences aim to verify the usability of the materials and tools provided in the training and to improve the final methodology before its publication to the wider public.
About e-DESK
The e-DESK project was born within the Erasmus+ European program framework and is being carried out with the collaboration of five institutions from four EU countries: Santander International Entrepreneurship Centre (CISE) and University of Cantabria from Spain, Lappeenranta University of Technology from Finland, University of Zagreb from Croatia, and University Nova of Lisbon from Portugal. This ambitious initiative has been co-financed by the European Commission with a budget of over €230,000.
e-DESK will generate a digital learning pathway to explain this new methodology to teachers and will provide them with multiple training materials: a methodological guide, multimedia tools, software examples, gamification and digital strategies, and tutorials on open-source digital platforms.
